RUHS (Rajasthan University of Health Sciences) is a state university in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. Eligibility Criteria for RUHS | Rajasthan BSc Nursing admissions 2023

  • Educational Qualification- Candidates should have completed 10+2 or its equivalent examination from a recognized board.
  • Qualifying marks- Minimum aggregate marks for the general category is 45% and for the reserved category it is 40%
  • Mandatory subjects- The candidate should have studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as compulsory subjects.
  • Age Criteria- For female candidates, it must be between 17-28 years, and for male candidates, it must be between 17-25 years at the time of admission.

Certificates-

  • Medical fitness certificate- Candidates need to submit a valid medical fitness certificate at the time of admission stating that they are medically fit for access.
  • Domicile certificate- The candidate must have a domicile certificate from the Rajasthan state.

  • Applicants should correctly submit the Application Form before the due date to avoid rejection of the same.
  • Official authorities will directly reject the applicants’ application forms whose form is incomplete to have false information.
  • Once all the necessary details are successfully entered in the Application Form applicants, need to upload scanned images of passport-size photographs and signatures to the Application Form.
  • Following that, candidates must submit the application form and pay the application fees.
  • The application fee is nonrefundable and nontransferable and for general category applicants, it is Rs 1500/-.and for the Reserved category (ST/SC), it is Rs 750/- 
  • The application fee can be paid in both online and offline modes.
  • For online mode, candidates need to pay Rs 10/- along with the fee as extra charges.
  • Admit card is prior to sitting in the entrance exam and candidates can download it on the given date and time in 1st week of October (expected) from the official site of RUHS. It is a mandatory document to hold at the time of the entrance exam along with a valid Id proof.

Exam pattern | Rajasthan BSc Nursing admissions

  • According to the RUHS’s guidelines, the entrance exam for Rajasthan B.Sc. Nursing 2023 would be online, MCQ-based, and comprise 100 MCQ.
  • The entrance exam’s syllabus will be based on 12th science with biology streams, with a certain amount of questions from each stream:
  • There are 34 questions in biology, 33 in chemistry, and 33 in physics.
  • There is no deducting of marks for inaccurate or incomplete answers, thus each right answer will receive one mark.
  • The admission exam will be given in both Hindi and English, and it will take two hours to complete.

  • The nursing program will be merit-based, depending on the candidate’s performance in the RUHS entrance exam.
  • After the entrance exam, the selected applicant will be called for a counseling session.
  • The candidate will be required to download the option form, undertaking form, seat matrix as well as guidelines from the official website.
  • The selection of the candidate will be based on the merit of the candidate, seat availability, and options filled by the candidate.
